As a response against climate change and in partnership with the Students Council, Blackrock College will undertake the three Green Action initiatives shown below this Friday 29th November.

Youth Assembly Recommendations on Climate Change

The Youth Assembly have announced recommendations for action to stop climate breakdown and they encourage the public to be proactive and take them on board.

Conor Slattery on Climate Change

Climate emergency is a serious matter and we are delighted that Conor Slattery (5th Year) was selected as one of the 157 young people to attend the National Youth Assembly on Friday 15th November.

His proposal, a comprehensive Green Cloud Policy aimed at reducing emissions in the energy hungry Irish cloud-computing industry was discussed by the Power Committee Workgroup.
