Past Parents’ Association
Parents play an enormous role in the life of the College. Your support, interest, investment and commitment has made Blackrock a vibrant community that promotes Christian values and sets our boys on a pathway to a meaningful life. Parents make great sacrifices to provide the best possible opportunity for their sons. This is done within a community of fellow Parents, whose sons have shared the journey, the experience.
The Blackrock College Past Parents’ Association (PPA) provides a forum for Parents to come together to maintain a connection with each other. It also helps us to keep in touch with your son, particularly after he has completed his under graduate years and finds himself in a different part of the world
The PPA holds a number of annual events, both on and off campus, for past parents to meet, network and renew acquaintances. Membership of the association is free of charge.
The Blackrock College Past Parents’ Association will help broaden the reach of the global Blackrock community. More than 14,000 people in 65 countries across the world can avail of membership of the Blackrock College Union. The Development Office, based in the College, works with the Union on strengthening ties with this growing diaspora of Rock men. Our objective is to put an equivalent database of past parents, under the direction of the Development Office.
