The 30th Annual 100 mile cycle was another tremendous success on the Bank Holiday weekend, Sunday 5th May.

John Treacy, Chief executive of the Irish Sports Council, alongside President of the Union, John Rogan, set the 150 plus peloton on their way at 9.00am with all back by 7.00pm.

It was great to see ‘10’ 6th Years lead them home on the final part of the cycle. They have (together with Conal Regan) participated in the 100 mile cycle every year during their time in the College.

I congratulate Christy McDaid and his team on another fantastic renewal.
