Whole School Gathering 2019

Whole School Gathering
In preparation for the Senior & Junior Cup Campaigns
Thursday, 24th January 2019

Our annual Whole School Assembly in preparation for the Cup Campaign was held in the Sports Hall last Thursday morning.
Our students, martialled superbly by our cheerleaders, were loud and proud.
Peter Smyth (Class of 1995) director of the Leinster Academy, former teacher, SCT coach, cup winner (twice at SCT and once at JCT) was guest of honour. Our captains, Sean O’Brien (6th Year) and Gus McCarthy (3rd Year) spoke humbly about the importance of the support in the stand.
The Lion video prepared by the cheerleaders provided the entertainment. I thank our cheerleaders, led by Ross O’Reilly, David Gallagher, Evan McCool, Scott Henderson and Donal McKeon (all 6th Year), our students (1200 strong, 1st Year joined us), our Deans, maintenance and Household Departments for their organisation of and participation in, the Assembly.
