Transition Year Family Mass 2020

The theme for this year’s Mass was ‘For Christ’s sake – share’ so it was fitting that Jim Murphy (class of 1971), President of the College “Past and Present” St. Vincent de Paul Conference delivered the homily. He spoke appreciatively about the fantastic fundraising efforts for the good works of the conference which include Christmas hampers, 3rd level grant aid, counselling and drug rehabilitation as well as support for work experience and other extra-curricular programmes at Killenarden G.S.

Fr Cormac O’Brolchain and concelebrant Fr Tom Nash delivered a wonderful liturgy. We thank our cantors Gavan Bowen O’Connor and Sean Treacy; Readers Frazer McGinn, Joseph Carroll, and Brian Kieran Glennon, Ministers of the Eucharist John Cawley and Charlie Mullin, my colleagues Mr O’Neill, Mr Grant, Mr Savage, organist Mr Orrock and team leader Mr Madden for making it so special.
