Junior Tennis Update

May 2019

This week has seen a couple of fantastic performances from both our Junior teams who have earned their ways to the finals next Tuesday 21st, in Templeogue Tennis Club.

On Tuesday 14th, Junior 2 team beat Castleknock 3-2 at Castleknock.

JUNIOR 2

  • Singles 1: Matt Dowley (2nd Year)
  • Singles 2: James Sheridan (2nd Year)
  • Singles 3: Theo Claffey (2nd Year)
  • Doubles 1: James Harvey (3rd Year) & Andrew McCarthy (3rd Year)
  • Doubles 2: Rory O’Shea (3rd Year) & Joey Kennedy (sub) (2nd Year)
  • Sub: Killian Mc Kenna (2nd Year)
  • Absent from the team on the day: Mark Mc Cabe (3rd Year)

On Wednesday 15th, Junior 1 team bet Belvedere College 5-0 at home on our Blackrock courts.

  • Singles 3: Colm Kelly (4th Year)

  • Doubles 2: Callum O’Brien (3rd Year) & Tony Rowe (4th Year)
