Tennis – Senior 1st Team v Gonzaga

The Senior 1 tennis team competed their group phase on Monday with a comprehensive 5-0 win over Gonzaga. Team captain James Brophy, Callum O’Brien (both 6th Year) and John Glynn (5th Year) all won their singles matches. Will Fitzgerald (6th Year) partnered James Sheridan (5th Year) to win their doubles match with Mark McCabe (6th Year) and Matthew Dowley (5th Year) also winning their doubles match.

The team has now qualified for the Final, to be played at Fitzwilliam on Thursday 26th May, with a perfect record of four wins from four matches.
