Another Successful Season

Our Junior/Senior squads completed the double of Leinster Schools Cup titles, to go with their Leinster League titles, at Cup Finals Day, May 9th in UCD Belfield.

Blackrock Seniors, captained by Lorcan Patchell (5th Year), completed their 10th consecutive Leinster League and Leinster Cup double, and made it a record extending 11 Leinster Senior Cup titles in a row, with at 4-1 victory over CBC Monkstown in the semi-final followed by 4-0 versus Gonzaga in the final.

Blackrock Juniors, captained by Maitiu Heckmann (2nd Year), completed their 9th consecutive Leinster double, making it 12 Lenister Junior Cup Finals in a row and 11th double in those 12 years, with a 4-0 win over Blackrock 2A, captained by Ben Kieran GLennon (2nd Year), in the semi-final, followed by a hard fought 4-0 defeat of Castleknock College in the final. Earlier, Blackrock 2B had lost out 0-4 to Castleknock College.
