5th Year Cyclothon

Over 200 boys participated in the 8-hour cyclothon last Friday 27th November, Cycling, time keeping, sanitising, providing the music and taking photos. A total of 2158.7km was cycled, the approximate distance from Dublin to Bratislava. The inter-house event was won by Leman by 2km (!), closely followed home by Duff, with Shanahan, DeValera, Ebenrecht and McQuaid in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th respectively. €8,500 was raised by the event.

We congratulate the boys and their House captains on this very special event which electrified the Quadrangle.
