Summer Concert 2019

Another top class night of entertainment was on offer in the Jubilee Hall last Thursday night, 9th May. The appreciative audience enjoyed excellent performances from our choirs – Adult, Staff, Boarders, Leman, Corless, and Willow Park 1st Year – Orchestra, duets and soloists and all kept on the move by our M.C. Mark Kenny (5th Year).

There was sustained applause to acknowledge the contribution of our now retiring 6th Years all of whom have been superb ambassadors for the College, be it in the National Concert Hall, at the Wesley Festival or on stage in the Jubilee Hall, and an inspiration to the younger years. It was fantastic for our 1st Years to witness our Music Department in action, at its finest, so that they may aspire to the standard set. It was a great evening and I salute my colleagues Mr Grumley Traynor, Mr Cavanagh, Mr Orrock, Mr O’Sullivan and Mr Swan who set the challenge to which the boys respond magnificently.
