Student Congress, September 2019

A very well attended Student Congress – a biannual assembly of all the House Captains – was held in the CADLC last Thursday, 12th September.

Student Council, Chairman Tom O’Connor (6th Year), presided as matters such as a House Events, the Carol Service, the Day of Protest for Climate Change, Study Provision, the opening of the Recreation Areas in the evening times and traffic at 9pm were discussed.

This is a consultative body which provides an opportunity for the elected representatives of the student body to engage with the Senior Management Team.

Mutual understanding is the aim.
