Soccer – Dublin Metropolitan League

Congratulations to our senior squad on a hard fought victory over Chanel College in the semi-final of the Dublin Metropolitan league last Wednesday. An excellent team performance from the senior soccer team after a tough defeat on Monday. Luke O’Hara (6th Year) gave us the perfect start with an excellent finish after 5 minutes. Billy Griffin (5th Year) added a second after half time. Chanel scored with 20 minutes remaining but some excellent saves from Peter Quinlan (5th Year) kept the score at 2-1.

The final will take place next Wednesday, May 2nd against the winners of Lucan Community College and St. Aidan’s.
