Senior Soccer – BC v Coláiste Pobail Setanta

Congratulations to captain Max Mooney (6^th year) and the senior Soccer team on their extra time win against Coláiste Pobail Setanta last Friday. It was a fantastic occasion on the front lawn with the tremendous support inspiring our team. Going behind twice in normal time, the squad dug deep to level the game through Daniel Bennet and Eoin Maher (both 5^th year). In extra time, two goals from Fergal O’Sullivan (6^th year) sealed a dramatic victory, the winner coming in the 107^th minute!

We thank our coaches  Peter Quinlan (2019), Ronan Cowhey (2020), Riley Smith (2021) and of course Mr O’Brien for their preparation of the team. We march on to the quarter-final which will be played after Easter.
