The Leinster Schools’ Debating competition has been a great achievement for the Blackrock Senior English Debating Society this year. All six teams in Round Two progressed to Round Three, with two of these teams placing. The next round will be the quarterfinals and teams will progress to that based on their cumulative scores across all the rounds so far.
Overall, we are optimistic about our chances for further success in the competition and everyone is enthusiastic to progress at the standard we have set for ourselves thus far.
We thank Ms. Ni Shuairc and Mr. Orrock for their preparation of the boys.
