European Challenge & Champions’ Cups
Quarter Finals

It was quarter finals weekend in the European Challenge and Champions’ Cups. What a weekend of exhilarating rugby it was with ‘Rock boys in the thick of the action!

In the Champion Cup, Garry Ringrose, Leinster (Class of 2013) edged out Jordi Murphy (Class of 2009) and Nick Timoney (Class of 2013) both of whom served Ulster well in an atmospheric Lansdowne Road on Saturday evening (March 30th).

Earlier that day, Andrew Conway (Class of 2009), Joey Carbery and Jeremy Loughman (both Class of 2013) were part of the Munster side that defeated Edinburgh in Murrayfield.

In the Challenge Cup, Connacht with Denis Buckley, David Heffernan (both Class of 2009) and Gavin Thornbury (Class of 2012) were beaten by Sale Sharks for whom AJ MacGinty (Class of 2008) turned out and Ian Madigan (Class of 2007) started at out-half for Bristol against La Rochelle on Sunday, 31st March.
