Rugby – Junior Cup 2021, Semi Final – Blackrock v Terenure

Congratulations to Jack Angulo and his squad on a very good performance in defeating a talented Terenure side. This was more challenging than the score line suggests and with the score at 21-10 five minutes into the 2nd half, the game was in the balance.

A strong finish was testimony to the squads’ character and resilience.

The J.C.T. continues to improve and they will have to do so again if they are to win the final. The good news is that they know that.

Again, we thank our coaches Mr Daly, Mr Kelly, Mr Barry, Mr Toomey, Mr Moore, Mr Lester, John McKee and Louis O’Reilly (class of 2018) and our medical team of Ms Aisling Carr and Dr Noreen Curran, our Cheerleaders and boys in the stand, all of whom contributed to a very special occasion.
