Rugby – House 10s, Sept 2021

A great morning of competitive rugby was enjoyed by the boys in each year group.

The 6th Year competition threw up great excitement from start to finish. After keenly contested group matches and a ‘drop-goal’ shoot out to decide the winners of the Duff/McQuaid Semi-final, it was McQuiad who won the competition beating Leman in the final.

Matthew O’Brien (Duff) was player of the tournament.

In 5th Year, De Valera won outright with, again, Leman the runner-up.

Maxim Aschenbrenner (De Valera) was player of the tournament.

In 3rd Year, Duff was the dominant House throughout the tournament beating McQuaid in the final but it was Leman’s Rory Donoghue who was player of the tournament.

Finally in TY, De Valera was victorious beating Ebenrecht in the final despite the best-efforts of the player of the tournament Jack Joyce (Ebenrecht).

We thank our games Administrator, the Deans, Coaches and referees (Harry Donnelly, James Tarrant, Jeff Kenny, Charlie O’Carroll, Ben White, Killian McQuaid, Robert Kenny), for an excellent morning’s rugby.
