Rugby – Blackrock Wins 70th Leinster Schools Senior Cup

Congratulations to Gus McCarthy and his S.C.T squad on their victory over a gallant and skillful Gonzaga. The scoreline didn’t do justice to their contribution to an excellent final. We salute them.

The S.C.T. played superbly in the final, representing all that is good in Leinster Rugby. But this is no surprise such is the calibre of the boys and the quality of the coaching.

We thank Mr. Vanstone, Mr. Manion, Mr. Murray, Mr. Twomey, Mr. Moore, James Burke (Class of 2018), and Mr. Lester, our Medical Team of Dr Terry Boyle (Class of 1979), and Ms. Carr for their work with the boys.

We also thank Matthew Harvey and the Cheerleaders who did an amazing job in Donnybrook, the RDS and the College.
