Skibbereen Head of the River, The Marina, Cork

Congratulations to our Blackrock College Rowers who competed at Skibbereen Head of the River, a 3km time trial event held on Saturday in Cork City. Some fantastic results, most notably, the J154x+ led by Ted Power who finished 2nd behind Muckross RC, the J15 2x lead by Matthew Kane 3rd place behind Waterville RC and Guy Mangan in the J14 1x, while he came in 6th place, he was only 24 seconds behind first. Good results all round and a good platform for our rowers before the winter training begins. I thank our coaches: David Drennan & Laura Gannon.
