Pan Eireannach Games

Last Tuesday 28th May our 2nd Year Latin Class visited UCD for a museum visit and the inaugural Pan-Eireannach Games, organised by the UCD School of Education.
They presented a rap, a model of a Roman house, a poster of Roman Gods they had imagined and described and a translation.

Edward Spain won a runner up prize for his translation, Ben Kieran Glennon and Aaron Murtagh won pins for their linking of the projects on display to UCD’s sustainable goals.

All the boys received a certificate and medal.

Special word on Jamie Ahern O’Connell for his fantastic display of ‘Be Caring’, two very nervous girls presented a song before them and when he introduced his group’s rap he said ‘it won’t be as good as the musical offering before us’.
