National Senior Science Quiz Final, Nov 2019

The National Senior Science Quiz Final took place in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute last Friday evening.  Forty-Six teams from all over Ireland competed with questions from the Leaving Cert Biology, Chemistry, Physics and General Knowledge. After 8 rounds, 4 schools were tied for 1st having scored 37 points out of a possible 48; St. Andrew’s College, Blackrock College A, Blackrock College B and St. Muredach’s. After a series of tie breaks, St. Andrew’s pipped our A team with the Bs in 3rd place. Our C team finishes 10th.

An excellent performance from all the boys, and I thank Ms Groves for her organisation and preparation of the teams.
