Methody Sesquincentenary Festival
Friday 19th and Saturday 20th October 2018
16 schools participated in the Methody Rugby Festival on Friday/Saturday, 19th/20th October. It was superbly organised and I congratulate our senior squad on their performance on and off the field.
On Friday, we topped our group beating Rockwell, Mount St. Mary’s (England) and Campbell, On Saturday we beat Belvedere in the quarter-final, Methody in the semi-final but lost to St. Michael’s (3-24) in the final. We congratulate St. Michael’s on their victory.
We thank Methody for the invitation – it was a privilege to be part of this celebration – our coaches. Mr Vanstone, Mr Pickering, Mr Lambe, Mr Murray and Mr Moore and of course the boys for representing us so well.
