Leman Concert XXXIV, Tremendous!

Leman Festival Concert XXXIV
Sunday, 19th January 2020

Tremendous!
‘Hear Me Roar’ was the appropriate tag line for this year’s Leman Concert as the choirs, bands, orchestra, ensembles, duets, soloists and MC’s celebrated the world of female artists and composers culminating with a powerful rendition of Tina Turner’s, Simply the Best. What a fitting way to finish an evening that showcased the extraordinary talent in the school!
Our Guest of Honour President of the Union Stephen Mullin, (Class of 1983) and his wife Mary Rose, alongside a packed NCH of family, friends, guests and staff enjoyed a brilliant night’s entertainment.
Congratulations and thanks all our performers, our M.C.s and backstage crew.
Thanks to Mr Grumley Traynor, Mr Cavanagh, Ms O’Kane, Mr Sullivan, Mr Toirleac O’Brien, Mr Swan, Mr Chris O’Sullivan, Mr Orrock, Ms Caldwell and Ms Aoife Ryan for an incredible evening’s entertainment. Thanks also to Mr Madden, Mr Sheil, Sean Hannon (class of 2019), Jody Trehy, Mr Wyer, Fr O’Brolchain and Mr Herlihy for making it happen so seamlessly.
