The semi-finals for the Karl Ashe Trophy took place last Friday evening, 7th September. The 6th Year Dayboys captained by Niall Comerford led from the start despite the best efforts of Michael Callaghan (6th Year) and his team. The final score was 4-8 to 2-5.

The other semi-final was equally competitive with the Transition Year team (captain Mark Nealon), causing an upset with victory over the 5th Year team, captain Jeff Kenny 14-4 to 8-1.

So, it is a 6th Year v 4th Year in an all Dayboys final which will take place next Friday, 14th September at 4pm. The match will be played on the front lawn.
