Junior Debating

Congratulations to our Speakers who competed at the MATHESONS JUNIOR DEBATING NATIONAL MACE LEINSTER FINAL in Coláiste Bride in Clondalkin on Saturday last, 31st January 2015.

Oisín Ryan, Stephen Ryan (3rd Year), Michael Ryan (2nd Year), Tom Dooley (1st Year), spoke in 4 highly challenging and difficult rounds from a ‘Zero Tolerance Policy on Homophobic Bullying’ to Political Assassinations as a Legitimate Foreign Policy.

Stephen and Oisín progressed through to the National Final which will be held in the College in March and Tom Dooley, despite not advancing, won the award for Best 1st Year in Leinster.
