Congratulations to Alec Linklater, Michael White, James Carroll, George Francis, Daniel Keeley, Jamie Starr Bourke and Jack Dempsey-Salley for participating in the Alexandra MACE on Saturday, March 30th in Alexandra College.
Michael White and George Francis (both 3rd Year), and Jamie Starr Bourke and Daniel Keeley (both 2nd Year) all made it through to the Finals but were beaten at the last hurdle by Belvedere.
This was the first MACE competition for George and Jamie and the first time these 4 boys made it through to a final.
The motions were:

| Motion 2: | This House Would not give aid to countries with a dictatorship. |
| Motion 3: | This House Would prioritise health care for those who didn’t contribute to their own illness. |
| Motion 4: | Final round: This House Believes That climate change is the single biggest social issue facing society as a whole. |
Next event:
Nationals: Saturday April 6th in Colaiste na hInse, Bettystown, Co. Meath.
Those involved are Ben Kieran-Glennon, James Carroll and Daniel Keeley.
