Holy Ghost Prep, Philadelphia 2020 Trip

We welcome to Blackrock 14 students and 2 Teachers, Ms O’Connor and Mr Croskey, from our sister school Holy Ghost Prep.

They arrived last Thursday 2nd January and having stayed in the Castle for 3 nights they met their correspondent TY students and families, who will host them for the week, at Mass on Sunday 5th January.

Fr. Paddy Dundon was Chief celebrant. In an excellent homily he shared with the congregation the strong bonds of connection between our two schools.
We thank Fr. Paddy, Fr. O’Brolchain, Bishop Ellison, Fr. de Blacam and Fr. Tarimo for their contribution of a wonderful liturgy.

The boys have a busy, engaging and varied schedule for the week and we wish them all well.

We thank Mr Toirleac O’Brien and Ms Ryan for their leadership roles. We particularly thank Mr O’Neill for putting the programme together.
