“I wanted to write and tell you how impressive all your boys were yesterday and what a credit they are to the College”.
David Lawson, Campaign and Events Exec. at Our Lady’s Hospice
I congratulate the TY boys who raised €1,680 for the Blackrock Hospice last Thursday morning, 20th September. This is a particularly good return as it is worth noting that the school was closed (Junior Cycle Training Day for teachers) and these boys could have been otherwise engaged.
I thank Michael Lucey, Matthew Mion, Eoin O’Sullivan and Jack Roche who were the top collectors.
Amongst the many achievements of the day was the return of a lost dog to its relieved and grateful owner. Mathew Mion take a bow! Maybe a bow wow!
Well done TY’s on behalf of the Hospice but also on our own behalf as our reputation and public standing has been further enhanced.
