Gaelic – Dublin Schools Gaelic Quarter Final v Coláiste Cois Life

Congratulations to captain Cian Manning and the 2nd Year football team on their quarter final win in Silverpark last Tuesday, 29th November. Two goals scored by Jack Sheeran midway through the first half was the main difference between the sides, but there was great balance in the forwards with all of them getting their name on the scoresheet. The defence also must be highly commended, especially in the second half, when our opponents dominated possession. Centre back James Smyth and full back Mark O’Meara played crucial roles relieving our goalmouth of any pressure. Goalkeeper Michael Madden also pulled off a string of superb saves. The semi-final is set for this week.
