Dublin Badminton Championship, Jan 2022

Last Tuesday, 25th January, was the finals day in the Dublin Badminton Championship. We commenced the morning matches in the knowledge that our Division 2 team of Vincent Pang, Thomas King, Mark O’Reily (all 6th Year) and Scott Downes (4th Year) has won their league and have qualified for the Leinster Competition which will be played on Thursday, 3rd February.

Our Division 3 team of Joshua Scallan, Michael Paran, Timothy Jordan, Matthew Kane (all 6th Year) and Division 5 team of Jamie Starr Bourke, Vlad Sukhodolov, Hugh Gallen (all 5th Year) and Shaun Loh (6th Year) despite spirited performances were beaten in their finals by Castleknock College and Woodbrook College respectively.
