Dragon’s Den Final
Tuesday, 25th May 2021
The 13th Dragons Den took place on Tuesday 25th May in the Creative Arts and Digital Learning Centre.
The competition began in January with over fifty transition year students taking part in online hackathons and brainstorming sessions and from this a record 23 business plans were submitted for consideration for the final.
The dragons helping out in the final stages of this years competition were:

The Winners:
1ST PLACE
‘Ripple’ – a wellbeing app by Ben Kieran-Glennon, Conor Hughes, Tom Walsh and Damiel Kelly the winners of 1st place and €1,000 prize.
2ND PLACE
‘Green Times’ – a genealogy service by Jack Burke and James Norton in 2nd place winning €750 prize.
3RD PLACE
‘Sizzle’ – a recipe/shopping app by William Donelly in 3rd place with a prize of €250.
