Blackrock College was one of 15 schools nationwide awarded the Digital Schools European Award at a ceremony held in UCD yesterday, 28th March.

The award recognises our excellence across 8 categories – Leadership, Teaching and Learning, Continuous Professional Development, Mentorship, Assessment, Collaboration and Networking, Student and Digital Competence.

This is a pathway to establishing our students as independent learners, creators and innovators and also to building their cyber-resilience through positive online engagement and creative uses of technology.

We thank our e-learning department, led by Ms Markey, Mr Grumley-Traynor, Mr O’Connell and Mr Montgomery, for their inspiration and of course, our colleagues and the student body for driving us forward.
