Cricket

The Cricket season is well underway and the Junior Team played their first three matches last week. Excellent team and individual performances were produced, even though the results were mixed.

Shane Keane (3rd Year) led the boys tremendously well as they narrowly failed to chase down totals set by CUS (lost by 25 runs) and last year’s winners St Mary’s (lost by 5 runs), but a spirited performance against Clongowes (won by 62 runs) showed the qualities this side possess with bat, ball and in the field.

The Juniors have one group match left against St. Andrew’s, whilst the Senior Team begin their campaign this week with matches against Dundalk Schools and CUS respectively.
