Coming Together Mass – The Class of 2020
Sunday, 24th April 2022
And finally… it is unusual to start a notice in such a way but finally the class of 2020 and their parents gathered in the Jubilee Hall last Sunday, 24th April, formally, in thanksgiving for their time at Blackrock and for their wellbeing over the last two years.
Chief celebrant Fr O’Brolchain and concelebrant Fr Nash congratulated them on their contribution to Blackrock and on their resilience through Covid times. President of the Union Robert Brophy (class of 1982) and his wife Sarah, and Mr Stephen Mullin (class of 1983), President of the Union in 2020, and his wife Mary Rose, welcomed the boys into the Union.
It was an uplifiting, joyous occasion appreciated by the boys and their parents.
We thank Fr O’Brolchain, Fr Nash, Mr Ryan, Mr Grumley Traynor, Ms O’Kane, Mr Chris O’Sullivan, Mr Herlihy, Ms Nolan, Ms Markey, Mr O’Reilly, Ms Crimmins, Ms Drew and organiser-in-chief our chaplain Mr Madden for their organisation of an excellent liturgy.
