Castle Family Mass

Castle Family Mass
Sunday, 9th September 2018
There was a tremendous turn out of Parents, Grandparents and siblings for the annual Boarders Mass last Sunday, 9th September.
Chief celebrant Fr. Marc Whelan urged the boys to be open to the Holy Spirit, to believe in God, others and themselves.
The Mass is an excellent start to the year and we wish all in the Castle well. We were delighted to welcome the President of the Union John Rogan (Class of 1989) his wife Nikki; sons Jack (3rd Year) and Jamie (2nd Year).
I thank our Castle Chaplain Adam Pufzczewicz, Ms Fitzgerald, Mr O’Brien, Mr Creighton, Mr Daly and Cian Crotty for their preparation and organisation of the boys for this important Liturgy. I also thank Deans Mr Ryan, Mr Brennan, 6th Year Chaplain Ms Lorraine Crimmins and Willow Park Principal Mr Rogan for their supportive presence. We were also most appreciative that past pupil Harry Kearns (class of 2018) played the organ. I particularly thank Fr. Marc and our concelebrating community and our Boarders for making it so prayerful.
