CAREER TALKS

 A large group of 5^th Years and a sprinkling of 6^th Years attended the Career Talks held on Saturday last, January 16^th, 2016.

Talks were given on careers on Business (Mr Brian O’Neill, Class of 1981), Healthcare (Dr Mark Murphy, Class of 1999), Science (Cian O’Mearain, Class of 1990), Counselling (Brian Davis, Class of 1999), Primary School Teaching (James Macken Teacher in Willow Park Junior) and I.T. Computing (David Regan, Class of 1981).

It was great to see such a large turnout and I thank the Head of Guidance Ms McGee, Dean of 5^th Year Ms Dobbyn and the Union – President David Coen (Class of 1986), David Regan, Robert McCarthy (Class of 1988) and Greg Manahan (Class of 1985) – for their organisation of the opportunity.
