Blackrock College Careers Fair 2020

Our first Careers Fair, the initiative of Ms Drew, was held in the College on Thursday, 16th January. There was a very good turnout of 6th Years and their parents availing of the opportunity to engage with representatives from 28 different Colleges and Universities (UCD, TCD and IADT had multiple stands) on their various under-graduate programmes. The Irish Air Corps and Aer Lingus added to the breadth of offering.

There were also a series of Lectures by the leading faculties in UCD, Trinity and TUD as well as by Medical Poland. 21 recent past-students were on hand to share their experiences at 3rd level.

Thanks to the Junior Committee of the Union and our 21 past-students for their support. Also thanks our Household and Catering staff for their organisation of the logistics.

Thanks to Ms Drew, Ms Crimmins and Mr Ryan for this excellent event for the class of 2020. A great evening – well done to all who organised it and to all who supported it.
