Big Business Quiz, October 2019

The Big Business Quiz took place on Friday 25th October. Mr. Fitzsimons’s and Ms Reilly’s TY Business and Accounting classes organised and hosted the event in the lecture hall. Over €500 was raised for The Soley Charity in Haiti as Blackrock boys demonstrated their knowledge of the business world.

The 5th Year event was held in the morning. Congratulations to Paddy Whelan, Mathew O’Meara, Rory O’Gorman and Conor O’Kane on winning the spoils in a three-way tie break. The 2nd Year event, held in the afternoon, was won by Daniel Callaghan, Alex Kenny, Charlie Molony and Conor O’Shaughnessy.

Prizes were donated by Eddie Rockets, Supervalu, Marks and Spencers, Starbucks and Donnybrook Fair.

I thank Ms Reilly, Ms Courtney, Mr Curtis, Ms Nolan, Mr Herlihy, Mr O’Neill, Mr Brennan and of course Mr Fitzsimons for their organization and support of the day’s event.
