An excellent first quarter performance saw ‘Rock take control of this game. St. Pauls to their credit never gave up and made us work hard for the entire game.
In the first quarter we scored 27 points and added a further 26 points in the third. While it is an impressive scoring total, it is a win and a place in the semi-final, no more than that. There is plenty of work still to do.
Ronin O’Halloran (3rd Year – 21 points), Jimmy Gilligan (3rd Year – 12 points) and Pablo Villarroya (4th year – 10 points) led the charge on offence.
I thank our coaches Mr O’Neill, Calum Henry (Class of 2016) and Rob Somers (Class of 2017) for their preparation of the squad.
