Nathan Van Steenberg coming in close won a thrilling game over his opponent with 30-29, and Daragh Harrison won well in his singles match with a good 19-30.
In our first doubles, john teamed up with Nathan and sadly lost out by 23-30. In some very interesting rallies, Ben and Daragh teamed up in their double but lost 25-30.
Our ‘A’ team had better luck beating Sandford Park in the Division 3 Quarter-Final.
Darragh Dempsey played up on first singles, as a substitute for Stephen O’Nuallain. Darragh is a well experienced player in this league and has not been beaten to date, winning this round comfortably with 30-5. Ben Ryan and Daragh Harrison also acting subs from our second team, played well in their singles with Daragh getting the third win scoring 30-13.
