Auxilium 5th Year Launch
Auxilium 5th Year Launch
As part of our commitment to the Spiritan ethos of reaching out in caring and kindness, the College was proud to launch our 2021 Programme of Service, Auxilium, at the Fifth Year assembly, on the 13th of October. This is the first year in which Fifth Year students are involved in the Programme and they have certainly hit the ground running, with many students taking part in a virtual sleep-out for the homeless, youth sports training and charity service over the last week alone.
Each student will represent the College’s values to ‘Be There’ and ‘Be Caring’, as well as representing his House, by engaging in ten hours of service and outreach, in the coming five weeks. This Programme will not only allow students to engage more meaningfully in their communities, but also to put their faith into action. We thank the House Captains for their enthusiasm and drive in supporting their fellow students, in this worthwhile endeavour.
We thank Ms Ni Shuairc and Ms Dobbyn for their facilitation of his opportunity.
