Anti-Bullying Day 2022
Anti-Bullying Day
Thursday, 22nd September 2022
A recent survey reported that 28% of children (under 18) have experienced bullying online since or during lockdown. 50% reported witnessing others being bullied.
It is everyone’s responsibility to stop this behaviour. If you are a bystander, you are condoning bullying.

Why be a name-caller, racist, bigot, homophobic, transphobic when you can be empathic, respectful, an ally.
Each pupil is entitled to an education free from fear and intimidation.
Bullying is not tolerated in Blackrock College.
Thanks to Ms Markey, the student well-being committee, Deans and my colleagues for the preparation and implementation of the day.
