3rd YEAR FAMILY MASS
Fr. Daithi Kenneally, CSSp. was Chief Celebrant at last Sunday’s 3rd Year Family Mass (30 November 2014).
He urged the boys to see Jesus as their anchor, to be awake to how He can help them in their lives. He told the boys that there is already ample evidence of preparation for the ‘commercial’ Christmas. They should take time to prepare the way for the true meaning of the Feast.
James Tarrant and his parents Janet and James led the congregation in the family faith prayer. The singing, music, quality of the readers and, of course, the ambience in our Chapel was commented on by so many.
I thank the President of the Union Shane Murphy (Class of 1981), his wife Hilary, the concelebrating Community, Mr Sean Dunne, Mr Herlihy, Mr Tom Ryan, Mr Brennan, Mr T O’Reilly, Ms McMahon, Ms O’Kane, Mr McDonald, Mr Grumley Traynor and the boys of the Third Year Choir for their contribution to a marvellous liturgy.
