3rd Year Family Mass, Nov 2021
3rd Year Family Mass
Sunday, 7th November 2021
Chief Celebrant Fr. Cormac O’Brolchain, in an excellent homily, urged the boys to be the best they can be and to think and act in a caring and loving way. He referenced the many ways in which the class of 2025 contribute to our school community. It was an uplifting liturgy, with great positivity and affirmation. You couldn’t but feel good about being part of the Blackrock family.
We thank President of the Union Mr Robert Brophy (class of 1982) and his wife Sarah for joining us. We also thank Fr. O’Brolchain, Fr. Nash, Ms Irene Dunne, Ms Crimmins, Ms O’Kane, Mr Grumley- Traynor, Mr Cavanagh, Mr Brennan, Mr Herlihy, Mr Halpin, Mr MacDermott and organiser-in-chief, Mr Madden.
Finally, we thank our Ministers of the Eucharist Sean Purcell, Jack Rogan & Cian Ryan, (all 6th Year) and organist Gavin Bowen-O’Connor (5th Year) and of course, our parents and boys in attendance, both in person and online.
