The 100 Mile Cycle

The Willow Wheelers 100 mile cycle took place last Sunday, 30th April. After an early morning mass, concelebrated by Fr. Gavin, Fr Wambu and Fr. Keane, over 160 cyclists, of all ages, shapes and sizes, set off just before 9 a.m.. The weather was generally clement throughout the day and Christy McDaid led the peloton into the College recreation at 8 p.m. The group was tired, some were stiff and sore, but all were in exultant mood as they completed their test of endurance.
