Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Mass 2020

As this is Mission Awareness Week, we concluded our week with a morning of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in our magnificent College Chapel.

We thank the boys for their expression of faith and respect. It is encouraging to all of us – Faith is alive and well and is in safe hands with the next generation.

The number of boys that voluntarily chose to visit the Chapel for quiet prayer, joining with the broad College Staff is another example of the Community which is Blackrock.

The theme for this Mission Sunday is “together we can do more” – as we approach mid-term, we have all walked together, prayed together, worked together and as a result we have done more because we do it together.

Special thanks to Jonathan Hoffman [TY], Sacristan Ms Irene Dunne, Mr Orrock, Ms Crimmins and Mr Madden for all their work in creating a beautiful time and place for us to pray today.
