John Hooper Medal National Competition 2019

Congratulations to Keith Ahern and Josh Baker (both 6th Year) for their poster “The Economic Viability of Electric Cars in Ireland” and to Patrick O’Conner, Liam Heylin and George McCann (all 6th Year) for their poster “Concussion in Schoolboys Rugby” both of which achieved Order of Merit awards in the John Hooper Medal National Competition for Statistics organised by the Century Statistics office.

This is a very prestigious competition with a record 301 entries this year which makes the achievement of our boys even more noteworthy.

I thank Mr Costello for his encouragement and preparation of the boys.
