Gaelic Football Schools Semi Final 2019

Our Transition Year squad has qualified for the Dublin Junior Schools Championship final after an excellent win over Lucan Community College.

We started slowly and trailed 1-4 to 0-2 after 10 minutes. However, we recovered with goals from Tom Henderson, Naoise Golden and Louis Maguire and led by 3-6 to 1-4 at half time. Further goals from Michael Nealon, Sean Purcell and Darragh Dempsey secured victory.

Undoubtedly goals win games and our forwards took their chances, however, our backs defended well and with stellar performances from Johnny Quirke and David Walshe. Captain Robert Kennny also made several superb saves when called upon.

The final will take place after the Easter break against Coláiste Coilm, Lusk or Coláiste Cois Life, Lucan.
