Swimming – Leinster Swimming Championship 2019

Blackrock College put forward a strong showing at the Leinster Swim Gala on Sunday 13th October. There were a number of personal best times as well as a great team atmosphere! A special mention to Michael Curley (2nd Year) for his 3rd place in the junior 100 freestyle, Ronan Fahey (3rd Year) for his 3rd place finish intermediate 200 IM and 400 freestyle, Finn O’Neill (3rd Year) for his 2nd place finish in the intermediate 400 free.

I acknowledge the outstanding team leadership of Captain Ciaran Conway and Vice Captain Rory Sheil (both 5th Year) at the Gala.

Special thanks to Assistant Coach Robbie Condon (Class of 2017) and Davide Mei (Class of 2019) for their continued support and outstanding coaching. Many thanks as well to Niamh MacAdam for all of the time and effort in assisting parents at this Gala
