Soccer – Leinster Senior Cup, Nov 2019

Three goals down after 28 minutes – it was an uphill battle for captain Ronan Cowhey (6th Year) and his Senior squad. By half-time thanks to the goals by Michael Leavy and Jamie Dowling (both 6th Year) we had closed the gap to 4-2.

A tremendous performance in the 2nd half produced another goal from Jamie and an equaliser from Eric Pembrey (6th Year), which brought us to extra time. Unfortunately, they scored from a free kick to seal victory.

All is not lost for the senior soccer team. There is a quick turn around against Coláiste Éanna this Friday followed by St. Johns, Ballyfermot, on Tuesday and Old Bawn on Thursday – all in the league.
